Jeanette has been a clinical psychologist for over 10 years working for the Department of Health and has also worked in private practice for a number of years (previously Therapy West).
Qualifications and Memberships
- B.A. Psychology (2004)
- Honours in Psychology (2006)
- Masters in Applied Psychology (Clinical) (2009)
- Jeanette is registered with the Psychology Board of Australia and is a founding member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association.
- She is an AHPRA registered supervisor and provides supervision to postgraduate psychology students.

Jeanette has a passion for helping people develop resilience and coping strategies for life. Her main therapeutic approaches include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Schema Therapy, Solution-focussed Therapy and Interpersonal Therapy. Jeanette can also provide screening for neuro-degenerative disorders e.g. Alzheimer’s disease.
Please note that Jeanette does not offer services for children, adolescents, eating disorders or psychosis.
A Mental Health Care Plan can be obtained from a GP, or specialist, enabling a Medicare rebate for up to 10 sessions per year. Pensioners can receive concessions (must provide evidence of a pension or health care card).
Jeanette consults at the Queensgate Specialist Centre on Thursdays.
